Aust Care Environmental Services has been constructing, upgrading and maintaining fire breaks for over 16 years. Our specialised equipment and experience in this field has seen us become the leading supplier in South East Queensland of this service.

We have two tracked skid steer loaders with forestry mulcher attachments. This machinery can, on good flat sites, clear up to 3,000sqm of weed and vegetative matter per hour. The forestry mulching attachments leaves a well formed blanket of mulch over the cleared site that assists in site stability and safety.

We also have a 6 tonne excavator with a flail mower attachment that can, combined with our experienced operators, clear vegetative matter on steep slopes, creek banks, drainage gullies and most areas where other machinery types cant access.

Our machinery is also complimented by our on-ground environmental team who can perform detail vegetation removal and/or revegetation works. Overhanging branch trimming, fuel load collections, safety spotting and traffic management are some of the supporting service we offer and routinely perform when creating fire breaks for our clients.

Aust Care Environmental Services can build and maintain a range of mountain bike trails suitable for all levels of ability and fitness. These can be built in accordance with client specifications and International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) standards if required and can include any array of technical features that you may require.

Our Tracks and Trails construction team understand all principles of trail design, the need to minimise and disrupt surface water flows, how to ensure water is transported off the trail without causing downstream erosion events and how to ensure what we build will last!

Our 2 tonne excavator is just 990mm wide and is enabled with a Vertical Digging System (VDS) that allows safe excavation on steep slopes. This is complimented by our TX1000 Tracked Utility Loader and self-loading diesel tracked dumper that is just 830mm wide but has a payload of 1000kg.
